I am being bullied by a un happy buyer. Item ipad air smart cover leather, new unused. Not in origanal packaging. Buyer got back after he had bidied and after sale ended asking questions I answered to the knowledge I had been given. I bought an ipad air with full leather case, smart cover came with the deal, placed in the box unused where it remained. The unhappy buyer demanded explanation, he feels item is not leather, item has a smudge mark he refered snotty and some hairs. I have no kids or pets, item has been in the box since purchase. I suggested finger marks, item was well packaged for post. I offered a refund for the return. He refused as he will be out of pocket, but now demandiing me to partial refund him or else and he will keep item. A bargain to start with, but even more so at $20.50 if I refund $7.00 for postage.
He has now again contacted me bulling in a threatening tone, I refund him $7.00 ASAP or he will take action?? I have reported this buyer to ebay but still getting threats. What now?

I dont feel a nuetral feedback is harsh, when firstly the item was not correct, wrong size and wrong colour. I still left a polite feedback even if nuetral. You dont see the corrosponding emails, so you shouldnt make such statements when you dont know the full story.

Yes I feel if the dispute was in my favour and the person has breached ebay policies (abuse and by listing my full name) the Neg feedback should be removed.

You will be lucky if they can not have it re-instated given your reply - you have mentioned both feedback and a dispute in your follow up - best you could have done was let it go, as a 'feedback removal'.

You may not feel that, but a lot of prospective buyers might, given the comment is, at worst, positive.

Is it? In that a feedback will be removed for closed paypal cases in favour of a seller...It should be IMO....
I didn't think cases opened through papal could be changed....

I did ask if the negative could be reinstated/removed, ebay said no. They would only remove the abusive and personal comment.
The dispute was opened as item not recieved, the buyer said he had not recieved it, telling lies to paypal. (not very bright as well as rude). I supplied all the postal info and emails as asked and it was turned in my favour.
He had iniatially tried item not recvd with me, saying he had not recvd the item. I advised I had tracking details showing it was delivered, he then came back with his neighbour picked it up?
He then said he would be happy to keep the item if I refunded him some money. I said no he was to send the item back if not happy. He was making all sorts of reasons why he should get a partial refund, item dirty, marked, dog hairs etc etc (item was brand new, well packed and clean).
He called me all sorts of names, in caps. Threatened to leave neg feedback if I did not do as he asked (which he did anyway) and so it went on, 15 disgusting, threatening and demanding emails. I have had to block him from my private email address as well as ebay, never had such an experience.
What I want to know is; where is the sellers protection? I cannot leave him negative feedback. All I want is the negative removed its very unfair. I will ring and ask again. Thanks
