I find it quite incredible that ebay can get away with discrimination based on race or country.

After recieving the promotional email from e-bay giving me an opportunity to share in their 15th birthday celebrations by listing up to 150 items free, when I tried to register I was informed that because I am currently in New Zealand I cannot list on the Australian e-bay website.

"This would have to be discrimination of the worst order".

I am an Australian resident and citizen, but just because I am currently in New Zealand I am not allowed to list items for sale.

I frequently purchase from e-bay sites around the world, so why can't I list my items for sale??

Maybe the seller has to be living in Australia, on the dates the offer is valid for, at that address to be able to list items.

Nothing about seller has to be in Australia.

I got what I posted abvoe from my ipad...I retyped it on the computer I am using.

I just looked it up on the computer, so I could cut and paste it and it is different,  the same as yours!

Using the same link, in the same. email.

The ipad one says ends 14 September on the email, but the link says  17-21 July ( other posters noted the same in another thread on here about those incorrect dates).

I could try and take a screen shot of it on the ipad.

the dates were all over the place as posted in another thread.

When I was on the phone to the CS it even changed when they refreshed their screen

Maybe the OP should ring again and request the CS rep refresh their screen ?

For a company pushing the current DEFECTIVE defect system down sellers throats the bubby typos and errors are quite bizarre and ironic.

Same link takes me to promo 1862 on ipad and promo1993 on computer.

Something seriously wrong with them. The 1993 promo was showing early with the wrong dates (August), now we have a  Sept version and July one.
