I have an invoice from ebay that includes shipping costs for items that were refunded and not sent.

Hi

I processed 2 orders last month both of which were cancelled after I had printed off the shipping labels. I am new to using Ebay (i haven't sold anything on ebay for 5-10 years). I refunded the money including the shipping costs to the buyers but now I have still been invoiced $130 for items that were not sold.

How do I organise credits for these costs?

Regards,

Campbell

Hi Campbell,

Try viewing your label management page here to see if the labels are in fact cancelled.

eBay doesn't issue credits for cancelled labels immediately, as they await confirmation from Aus. Post in the following weeks that the labels weren't actually used.

But perhaps use eBay's online chat via the help menu to find out when the credits will be reflected on your account.

You only have about three days to cancel a label you have created, otherwise you get charged for it. When you do cancel them, it takes about 3 weeks for your money to be refunded. I am not sure whether you are talking just about postage costs or eBay fees as well. If it is eBay fees, check your statement to see if it was refunded to you later on. Otherwise you would need to contact eBay.
