....and don't have the rest of my life to wait for eBay to respond to me....so can knowledgeable members give me simple instructions. Figured it would be quicker and more accurate to get help here.
I've been to the site map, and yes it says I can do it, but how? I can't find where to set it up!!
I've said before that I'm an aging blonde... and it's probably staring me in the face...but I need help, PLEASE.
It will be very much appreciated. TIA

I've always found it a bit tricky to list a classified ad
but I find the easiest way is to find a classified ad that is similar and then choose "sell it yourself" or whatever it says within the ad, and go from there.

Okay, thanks, I'll give it a go.
Oh, now I've just got to find classified ad listings....who ever said eBay was easy to navigate, it's like a bl00dy minefield.

classified ads are only in certain category - like Services or Real Estate
can I ask which category yours is, I might be able to find one

Thanks so much.
I believe it would be Home Decor - apparently you can list stuff there.
Bottom line is I have quite a lot of a particular Mikasa dinner set to sell as replacements, and as I am not a Store, I figured the only way I could list would be through classifieds.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I understood from the eBay blurb.

Hope this is some help http://pages2.ebay.com.au/News/InsideSelling/eBay_Classifieds_with_Best_Offer#three

In that case I don't believe you can do a classified ad
Maybe try Gumtree?

No, sorry - I read that page backwards!!!! It does look like you can do a classified ad - free to list, pick up only -
I could not make the listing page link work tho - you might have better luck

Neither could I. I cleared cache/cookies, but no luck. Just another piece of the eBay jigsaw puzzle that's missing.
Maybe I'll try Gumtree (against my better judgement).
Thanks to both of you for trying to help me.

The information given in the link in #6 regarding classified ads - free to list - local pick up only
http://pages2.ebay.com.au/News/InsideSelling/eBay_Classifieds_with_Best_Offer#three
is 2 1/2 years out of date.
The listing format was introduced in 2010 and removed in 2012
