I have been having trouble understanding Australia's Classification System regarding the Import of Console / Computer Games into Australia. In Order to Comply with the National Classification Code's in Australia I have been trying to find what Games, and from where, I can Legaly Import into Australia.
http://www.classification.gov.au this website shows Classifications for Games in Australia but does not define what
is allowed from oversea's. The Term "Modified" comes up alot when searching for games but I dont understand if this means that:
1. All Imported Games are allowed if already classified, or
2. Only Games Modified by Australian Manufacturers are allowed ?
Is there a Website or page that can assesst me ?
Happy Selling, Ian.

Seeing as they were stopping imports of Mortal Kombat 9 (a game that was refused classification here due to over the top excessive violence officially titled "High impact violence" by the classification board) I'd say that it works as follows:
You will need to look up a list of banned games and unless you want to lose them upon importing, don't order anything off that list.
Sorry I can't offer more help..

Thanks for your input. I know the new classification for R18+ games is in for AU, though still I understand that all Games must have a Rating in Australia or they are illegal, these Games are given an RC Rating (Refused Classification).
But the website (see initial post) does not clarify what publications are ok, not that I can understand anyway.....
