I sent an item to both the USA and Canada 3 weeks ago today, both are saying items haven't arrived, is anyone having troubles with internationals taking a long time to arrive. I just received a parcel from the USA which was posted 28/5 so coming into Australia is fast.

iscrap - the registered parcel is definitely trackable on the destination countries postal site.
The other one may be trackable with the customs declaration number - it will depend on whether it has been scanned when it entered the country.

I've asked them to let me know by the end of the week if they haven't arrived, I was then going to contact Aust Post and see if they have any tracking on them.

iscrap - for the registered post one go to either the USPS tracking site or the Canada Post tracking site (depending which country it went to) and enter the registered post number and you will be able to see where the parcel is.

http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/default.jsf
For the other parcel try the customs number on the tracking sites also as often they can be tracked using that number.
These are the same sites AP will use if you ask them to check for you.

Thanks I will save those websites, good news about the Registered one got an email this morning from my customer.
My mistake. Apparently, the punches were sitting at the post office. I had a card in the mail that I missed.

No tracking comes up for the Canada one it says it is an invalid number.

Hi there
I'm sorry to hear 2 of your International parcels have not yet been delivered; I can imagine this would be quite stressful for you.
The estimated delivery time frame for both Regular and Registered International Post is 10 business days not including Customs time which can be up to 15 business days.
If you could please provide me the Customs Declaration and Registered Post numbers I will check the scans and see if I can provide you further information.
Kind Regards,
The Australia Post eBay Team

australiapoststore?
Hi. Is this serious? Needlss to say Im not posting here with my seller ID. Its simply not wise to do so. However over the last 12 months I have lost at least 30 parcels internationally posted and around 15 posted within Australia. Australia post does not track standard international items and in the past I have found to complain about such items is pointless. I have done so many times without result. I once put in a written complaint. I heard nothing and eventually when I followed it up was told that my "complaint" was not received and thereffore must have also gone missing in the post. I resent it...was told the same thing.... I resent it... was told the same thing. By this time, Id had enough. So I called Australia Post and was told that more than 3 months had now passed and it was to late to lodge a complaint!
Over the last year alone I have lost over $1000.00 in items that "went missing" in the post. When you ask at the post ofie they give you a form to fill out. generally when you are dealing with someone who know you this is accompanied by a comment like, "miracles have happened" or "It probably wont help but give it a go", "you never know your luck!" etc.

The Customs number is US002036087AU.
The registered one to the USA has been delivered, it was waiting at the post office for a week.
