Hi everyone,
I have some 10's of 3kg and 5kg Express satchels which I'd like to use up (I didn't know about C&S before I bought them). If I send them with a SOD sticker, would that qualifies for Paypal seller protection? My understanding is that the SOD stickers replace the registered post stickers. Can anyone clarify this. Thank you in advance

To meet the paypal requirement of proof of addressee requirement, all I do with express post satchels is fill in the registered post / platinum post lodgement forms (available from any PO) cross out platinum - tick the relevant box, fill out addressee details attach tracking number sticker to form, and get post office to stamp. No extra $$$ outlay.
Whenever queried at post offices, other than my regular, I just said I needed for business purposes and they just stamped without further questioning.

Thanks PJs. That's a good tip that saves $2.95 on a SOD sticker. Hope my local post office is happy to give me a stamp on the registered post receipt. This stamp should be sufficient as a proof of lodgement and in the case of INR Paypal should recognise it.
Regards

Hi Katherine,
SOD provides you with proof of delivery but does not include insurance. If you send an item that you want insured, and you also want proof of delivery you now need to pay for this as 2 separate services.

Registered post now only applies to letters, not parcels, apparently.
