I am thinking of selling items on ebay and dropshipping with my suppliers? Is that ok with ebay?

Ebay certainly don't mind but your buyers might. You need to be entirely honest in your listing as to the expected delivery times or else you'll end up being negged into non-existence. Buyers are notorious for not reading listings properly so you need to make it perfectly clear just how long they'll be expected to wait for their purchases. Also, if your items are coming from China, for example, then make sure you specify that in your item location.

Another thing to consider is that if your items are shipped directly from your supplier to your customer, it doesn't take long for a buyer to realise they can cut out the middleman (YOU) because all the supplier's details will be on the parcel.
Also (forgive me if you're already aware of this) but if you are the importer , then you are considered to be the de facto manfacturer, making you liable for warranty issues etc - even to the pont of being sued. Just like when you buy something from K Mart and it fails - it's K Mart that refund/replace the item in the first instance - not the manufacturer.
I have a supplier in China who gets things to my door in 3 days, but I'm not prepared to trust that for customers - Sod's Law and all that! I also think a lot of people assume erroniously that if it's coming directly from China, it's going to be rubbish - it never seems to occur to them just how much of the world's manufacturing is done in China. And if your supplier makes an error in packing or whatever, it's YOU that (rightly) gets the red dot!
Forgive me for looking like a naysayer, and this is only my opinion, but I think dropshipping can be a minefield.
Good luck (whatever you decide),
Marina.

yes its ok with ebay but as others have said a minefield for you.
if your suppliier sends wrong item / broken item / slow to send, it is your account that gets the neg. and the poor DSRs etc.

I agree, some of my best mineral specimens have come out of China. They have some great mines there! Same with Pakistan. But, I have gone way off topic 😄
