Hey guys 😃
Ok so I opened up a small ebay store and it has been running fine for the last 2 months.. however I'm finding that the montly fee ontop of selling fee's to be working out rather pricey.. e.g. last month's bill was $80
As I am just starting out I only carry a few items.. anywhere between 4-20 at a time. and sales aren't exactly every day either...... and I'm just wondering with a small inventory .. should I just go back to single sale listings or keep the store open?? I only make a few dollars profit per item.. and it seems that ebay eats away at most of my savings....
suggestions? =(

I have 620 items listed. I made a grand total of -$12 last billing month. I would have made even less without the store, so horses for courses.

It took time to get to where im at now.
When i first started selling on ebay i only sold at auction, and it was listed on the USA site, less fees, great conversion rate, huge sell through rate.
I thought 20 auctions was a lot lol, then i listed 50, thought that was huge lol
Gradually built up, opened a store, had it at 300 for a while, decided to get it to 500, did that, my aim is 700 but that takes more money which i dont have at the moment.
Im always buying more stock, trying to get in new things, but also staying within my budget.lt takes time but you can do it.
I think i started with $50 worth of stock.

just a single sale listings is better for now 🙂 (better to wait till untill your inventory has grown,to save money)

If you only sell a few items then a store isnt practical. If you recieve free listings then it makes it pretty cheap

Have you tried listing with variations? It helps lower your ebay fees.
