Yep - it appears so - I got slugged for the first time tonight - what a rip off - I always charged my customers what Aus Post charged me - like many of us do - add this charge to the additional payapl fees and it really eats into your meagre profit on some items. And why should ebay prosper on the buyers postal charges? - so we in turn charge more for postage, both the buyer and seller lose out. What is there justication?

Supposedly.
But it takes a month or two to be credited apparently. Same as if you cancel a label.

Wrong question, charlie.
This is about DISCOUNTS, not FVF increases.

... so davewil you seem to know a bit about the discounts.
Do the discounts apply to eBay satchels ?
Yes, I have started a thread on the topic, but I am very, very keen to understand what post services the discounts apply to, so I can process my post with peace of mind this evening.

Catspj's - the 10% discount applies ONLY to parcels (standard and express) weighing under 500g posted through the eBay postage labels system. It does NOT include the satchells or the boxes or parcels over 500g - presumably because these are already supposed to be cheaper rates.
SO for a standard parcel weighing under 500g that is being sent in your own box you'll be charged $7.20 but some weeks later (up to two months) you'll receive a credit of 72c 'It's in place till August 6. There is also a cap of 100 transactions per month

Thank you.
Very disappointed that the promo prior to introduction was not clear at all regarding which under 500g post services would receive the discount.
I think a lot of sellers will be caught out out, and assume that the eBay satchels will receive the discount as well.

Except fopr two of the services offered in our postage options, they all have the negotiated discount with AP already applied and are thus applied to our accounts immediately. There will be no further fee rebate. It is only the two services, which eBay are funding the discount for that are a limited time, and these two services will be charged at full price, but a fee credit will be processed and appear as a fee credit on your account, just l;ike other fee credits do now - not today, but ONE day.
