Is this eBay listing too confusing?

After some honest feedback. I have just received negative feedback for this item:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/REMINERALIZATION-GEL-Teeth-Whitening-Remineralisation-/330819619061

Saying "1 gel only, expected th image of 4". These pictures are all I have and made to look the product more enticing - It is also what all my competitors do also. I thought I had it as clear as possible by the very first line of text in a very clear big font saying '1 x 3cc Tube Remineralisation Gel'. Being also a seller, do you think the picture makes it too confusing on what the listing is for, or should this description be sufficient?

I agree with motherbear. Take a pic of your own. This I think would solve the problem of anyone thinking they are getting more than 1

I desagree with the above, why go to the trouble of taking any pics, promo photo is more than clear enough, after all this seller sold 91 others without anyone thinking they are getting 4.

Onus here is on buyers to READ, unless their last brain cell died back in 1975!

I meant to say I disagree with those who suggest taking a picture of just one item - they are not aimed at kindergarten kids, but for people who are literate.

jhos some here buying and selling do not have English as their first language and though they are literate in a language other than English this should not stop them from using ebay.

Clear photos, clear descriptions and good spelling make it easier for everyone no matter their lack of education.

Some sellers don't mind selling to adults who might be illiterate.

I think that if only one person thinks they are going to get multiples then it would be better to have a picture of exactly what the buyer is getting or to put 1 x XXml in the title.

You really have to play to the lowest common denominator when listing on ebay and the neut back in September alerted you to the possibility of it happening.

Your record is beginning to look a bit shaky with so many neuts and revised feedback so you can't afford to take your eye off the ball.

You should also check your spelling, if you are going to leave unprofessional follow ups to feedback at least learn how to spell despicable!

Hi bump, how are ya?

Agree with you to an extent - but we do live in an English speaking country and shouldn't have to get down to the level of those who don't understand it.

I mean, where does it stop then.

Does thjat also mean that customers like than can't grasp all the other relevant info in the listings, ie - faults or anything else the seller deems important to include to better inform his buyers.

Those who buy anything based on a picture alone  would really have no one else to blame, or shouldn't be allowed to blame anyone else but themselves.

When I lived in France I certainly didn't expect anyone to show me the pics when they wanted to relate something to me - nor did anyone bend backwards to explain anything, you either read and write the lingo or you don't.

You will find on these forums that there are a few regulars who will have a go at you over anything just because they feel the forums are their personal stomping grounds and they have a chip on their shoulder. Personally I cant see why someone should go on the attack over a spelling error or a typo like this. But they will.

I was considerably angry when I left that and did spell it wrong. But good for me I have just finished sending eBay proof of all the threatening correspondence and his feedback will be removed and he will likely be banned.

This thread is not about unrelated listings so don't post just to start an argument, especially when you know nothing about what happened. But if you would like, I will dig up all of your history and see what I can find and share it to everyone.
