It is unfair that I have to wait for 5 after sale before I can complain about a buyer.

Why do I have to wait 45 days before reporting a buyer.  The buyer is questiobnable as he has not answered my four messages.  Two vis EBay and two to his personal email.  His bid of $810 came within the last hour or so before bids closed and I fear that it was intended to clear the original bidder of $800.

Why do you have to wait 45 days?

Unpaid item cases can be opened 4 days after the sale.

If you wait 45 days, you will do your FVF. You only have 32 days to open a NPB case.

When was the sale?

I think before you get yourself in a pickle you should read some of the advice to new buyers and sellers available through the site map.

Buyers have to open Paypal disputes for missing or not as described items within 45 days, they then have to escalate to a claim within another 20 days.

Sellers can open an unpaid item dispute at any time after 4 days and up to 32 days after the listing ends. They can close it 4 full days after it is opened.
