Item already sold in Gumtree

Hi,

I posted an Advertisement on Gumtree in Dec 2021 and it asked whether do I want to list it on EBAY for free. I click ok however the item was already sold in Jan 2022 and I have removed the listing on Gumtree assuming it will remove from Ebay as well. Someone recently click on it to buy it. 

I have contacted the buyer and he is happy for me to cancel the transaction. Can you please guide me how to cancel this transaction without incurring any fees. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

To the right of the item in your sold list is a drop down menu with more options.

Select to cancel the transaction and you will be prompted to refund if the buyer has paid.

That will get you a fee credit.

You will lose the flagfall, though.

Always cancel listings for sold items everywhere they are listed. Don't rely on assumptions or platforms talking to each other.
