I have recently sold an item and sent it interstate, but after 2 weeks it hasn't arrived. It was not tracked as this was not an option offerred nor requested from the buyer (the item was not expensive nor particularly valuable).I offerred and gave the buyer a refund but this is a very frustrating experience because obviously the buyer would have suspected I didn't send it in the first place. I have a receipt from the post office but can't send bc no emails are shared. Any suggestions (apart from tracking)?
Very annoyed,

if you send the item you should use click & send so if they open an INR you have proof of postage as its trackable
if you dont you have to refund the buyer
it happened to me the other day, i bought something and paid by paypal and the seller had no tracking so after 2 weeks
the parcel hasnt shown up so the seller has refunded the payment, i messaged the seller and said if the parcel turns up i will pay for it again

You could scan the receipt and email the image via ebay messages, there is an attachment facility now on ebay messages, very useful for times like this - I use it a couple of times a week to give customers extra photos etc. The paperclip attachment thingy is up the top of the messages page.

Just 2 simple questions. Was the item boxed, or an envelope? Does your receipt have an article no. on it?
