Well, I'm in a pickle, this maintenance has got me good, my first item is due to end in 30 mins 'The Ford Id book' can't be opened, ie when you click on it it says 'Item no longer Available'
2 items down the 'Monaro Brochure' has the same problem.
So none of these items are getting any bids and this is when the bidding usually starts, so many buyers would have logged on to bid and seen it's no longer available, and wandered off.
I can't cancel the items because it is under 12 hrs, I thought I would cancel all items ending tonight because ebay just isn't working.
Vancelling it will also upset the winning bidder as he thinks he is going to get the items for a song, but the auction isn't an auction when you can't bid.
What can I do???

Most buyers know that eBay is in maintenance mode on Friday evening. How do you know that buyers can't bid? Why did you schedule auctions to end Friday evening?
What you can do is honour any sales that occur, or risk negative feedback.

Didn't know that Friday evenings was a standard issue no no. If you click on the item for the last hour it says Item no longer available, but it's still in my selling items list.
You also have to remember that I am paying for a service here. That service is not working.

The last minute it is now working

There you go.
It is handy to apprise yourself of the conditions of the site you sell on. With your feedback, some would assume you had at least a working knowledge of eBay.

No I didn't have the foggiest, but thanks for letting me know. I really didn't know not to list to end on a friday evening, I really didn't know what was happening and was stressing heaps. Thanks to the forum I now know for the future, thanks.

I believe the maintenance starts at midnight Thursday on the American eBay which operates on West Coast (Pacific) time. Since they're 15 hours behind us that makes it about 4pm (AEDST) Friday afternoon here and ends approx 4 hours later.
It's a very convenient time for USA members but unfortunately highly inconvenient for us Aussies as it really messes up Friday evenings.
