I'll third that sentiment.....most of my mail has been coming through in less time than it usually takes.
Adelaide to Sydney in 3 days instead of the usual 4, mail from the USA (USPS First Class) in 11 days and mail from Denmark in 10 days.
And Sydney local mail overnight using standard postage....Very good for any time of the year but excellent at Christmas.

I do have to say, I've not had one INR in the last two months - a couple of people concerned about the length of time it took to receive, with delivery being around a week or so, but other than that, everything's been getting to where it's supposed to in good time.
(Now that I've opened my big mouth, I'll probably get a few queries )

We've had a couple of INR's over the past few months (one today on another thread here).
But going by buyer FB left (the only way we have of judging item arrival) the delivery times have been exceptional for the time of year it is.

We just got FB from a buyer today who we mailed an item to by large letter yesterday.
Caboolture to Ipswich, QLD.
We dropped it into our local red street box at around 4:30pm yesterday and she left FB for us at about 3pm today saying perfect just exactly what she was looking for.
Less than 24-hours. Same as for express but with only 2x stamps.

You beat me to it, the service has been top class.
A big well done to Australia Post.

Well I'd just like to thank AP for delivering my express post parcel which I posted yesterday to Sydney, to an address in Victoria, meaning that the Xmas present I sent won't be received by the intended recipient for another 2 weeks.
Useless incompetent ba$tards, the lot of them. 😞

I agree, they have been exceptional the last few weeks. 2 days from central western NSW to Brisbane (normally a week). 4 days to some remote area in far north Qld (normally 2-3 weeks). 4 days to WA (normally 2-4 weeks). I did have to sign a few declarations to say there were no dangerous goods in the parcels, so I'm guessing some went by plane instead of truck. Wish they could go by plane the rest of the year!
