Just Opened Another ID On Ebay BUT?????

Hi all

Ummmmmm I opened another ID Account on Ebay but it has been closed within 12 hours. I wanted this account mainly for buying but I got a message from Ebay Stating that they are dubious of my account. I opened this account and linked my Paypal account to it as was said I could do on another post. Now I have to phone them within 72 hours. Is this normal?? If I don't they will cancel my account. Any help would be very greatfull

It is possible they are checking to make sure you are indeed the user and that your account & details have not been hijacked or corrupted in any way. While I am no expert in this area by any stretch I would do as request and satisfy their concerns. I am sure once you contact them you will be able to proceed without any problems.

It will be a normal check for your security; if all of your details are correct, don't worry 🙂

you can link multiple IDs to one Paypal. Just tell them what they need to know.

happened to me once as well, a while back.

my 2nd account was suspended for no reason with in 24 hours; I called their customer support but oddly that women over the phone refused to provide ANY information.

She kept trying to dodge the questions by repeatly telling me to read their User Agreement and Privacy Policy; I got very angry because I've been on ebay for years, I know I didn't make any mistakes.

even today I still don't have an answer.
