Latest buyer 'Game" to get refund

'Break' the item sent and demand a full refund is the new game.  Threaten "will report you"....Then  leave negative feedback.  And of course a seller cannot leave negative feedback about a buyer.  Buyer's  bad manners and demands accompany this  so one does not really feel inclined to support the request for good will.  Especially when you know it was sent double boxed with no extra postage or PH costs sent next day. Complaints to Ebay - it is not a threat as emails do not say "feedback".  Difficult for them.  Sigh.................  Garage sales are looking good again. Oops and no fees

Require the buyer to send the item back. At their expense. As you are entitled to, and as Paypal will require.

You might be out postage, but so are they. And they have no item.

Not really latest, nor advantageous to the buyer. Provided the seller knows their rights.

even if the buyer has purposely broken the item, what good is a broken item to the seller?

OP, have you at least requested photographic evidence?

but yeah, I'm with Dave, I'd be getting them to send it back.
