I usually list it as "private sale for buyer *************"
then no pictures just a bin price
stops idiots jumping in and grabbing it

Use the buyer's username rather than name of item to avoid the item being bought by someone else, for example list the item with title 'item for _____' then list the item with the full description under that section (so you are covered if something goes awry). Buy it now for only a short time is also a good listing option. 🙂

There was some mention of too easy to lose a paypal dispute if there are no pics or description.
So someone suggested to me once to re-list as BIN (making the buy it now price very high) with best offer and tell the buyer to put the agreed price as an offer which seller then simply accepts.
That way you don't need to expose the buyers ID in case they don't like that.
Otherwise freds idea of "This is for a private buyer only" works.

I must be a turning into a stingey old bugger, cause if I spend 20 cents to create a listing, I'll keep it going to try and sell more of them. That'll work if you can keep supplying them of course.
Do you qualify for the 30 free auctions a month? Start an auction & when they place their bid, just end the auction and tick the section to make them the winner.
