Listing my items on international sites

Hi there,

I have an Ebay store and I am keen to get my items listed internationally, and have changed my postage policy to international, but when I go to other countries Ebay sites to check, I can't see any of my products listed on there - even when I search for international sellers? I have changed my policy about 3 weeks ago now.

Is there something extra I need to do for this to work?

I tried one on the US site and it came up.

If you are new to selling on eBay - Selling international without tracking = no proof of delivery. Parcels with tracking (pack n track?) cost quite a bit more than regular airmail.

If there is a dispute from a buyer overseas -

- item not received  - no tracking -  seller required to refund buyer total cost including shipping.

- item not as described - if eBay or Paypal rules in buyers favour - seller has to refund buyer item cost plus shipping cost. Also if seller wants their item returned (buyer gets refund) they have to pay the cost to ship it back to Australia.

Shipping intl - regular Airmail  - parcel <500gs most countries $18.20 plus ebay's  final value fee on shipping $1.80

Thanks that is very helpful. I have been posting internationally via my own website, and pack n track seems to work well, so I stick with that.

I notice when you search for items on other ebay sites, that some international sellers come up under the default listing, and others are down the bottom specifically as "international" sellers (which is where I'm now showing up)

How do some foreign sellers make the local listings, and others dont? i assume there is criteria to meet?

I am not too sure about that. I have noticed that too. Perhaps the intl sellers that come up down the bottom, the item isn't exactly the same as search terms but similar?

Some other posters may know more about that.
