I have read old threads on problems of relisting items during this free listing promotion period but can't find the answer. I have alreadty relisted a few and don't see any charges to my account. Most of my items are ticked to automatically relist three times. Will I be really be charged a listing fee at some point if this relisting occurs? If so, how do I untick all my listings without revising each one individually?

Free relists are free, so no, you won't be charged a listing fee. The only time you would pay is if you relisted AFTER the auto-relists had completed and you didn't have any free listings available.
Which is generally what people are talking about - "If I list 1000 now, once they end I will have 1000 sitting in unsold". So they reckon it's not worth their time to list 1000 items even though they might sell some of them.

That sounds logical. I wish ebay made it clearer in their terms and conditions. Thanks for spelling it out for me,

do any businesses ever write anything in simple easy to understand words these days. the firms lawyers get in there and the words flow like gobbledeegook that only a lawer can decifer.
even when they write 'free' you must study the small print to find out what 'free' means these days.
