Massive mark ups - permitted or not?

I have seen multiple listings for concert tickets at massively marked up prices. Is this permitted, as I thought that I once read that this was not allowed to be done???

It depends if there is a venue restriction as is the case with some State owned facilities like QPAC in Brisbane and also on the re-sale conditions on the ticket.

If there are restrictions then normally they should only be listed at cost plus 10% but of course as long as people are daft enough to pay over the odds people will go on listing them.
