OK I will make this clearer
Item coming from Vic to NSW.
Tracking tells me it was sent from Cheltenham Vic 11th
it was at Chullora NSW 13th.
it's now back in Vic at Sunshine West on 15th
I'm in NSW seller in Vic

Oh no.....it is in the Chullora black hole. Give it time Freddie....it may bounce backwards and forwards several times before you get it.
I doubt that the seller will have any more luck than you have had....maybe she has had it happen before.

The seller only gave me the tracking number today after I emailed her asking for it, so no she hasn't been looking for the item.

Yes I know, thank you
and, as mentioned , those two (Chullora and Sunshine West) are useless, parcels will go back and forth between them several times, for no reason
There are many topics on these boards from several people who have had the same experinces with their items bouncing about between the two
When did you first ask the seller about it?

That is a very clear Freddie....and it is a scenario that has been played out regularly on the boards.
Nothing you or the seller can do will change anything.
Just be patient and hope that when the parcel arrives at Chullora next time it will continue on it's journey instead of bouncing back to Sunshine.

OK thanks, I contacted the seller and told her what i've told you here I asked if she would contact Sunshine West where it appears the parcel was last scanned and see if she can find out what's happened to it. But, she's telling me I have to do that. So I will leave it to her and if it doesn't appear I will contact paypal for a charge back.

I emailed the seller today asking for the tracking number because I thought it should have been here by now. Once I got the number this after noon I put it into the Aus Post tracking.

When I was allowed to sell on ebay and when an item went missing,it was in fact my responsibility as the seller to chase it up.
This is what I was told by an AP CS person.
So if you don't receive it then just open INR simples!

Yes that is what I was also told in years gone by but wondered if the goal posts had been moved, it was the sender who had to chase up lost items.
Thanks everyone.

Technically it is not lost Freddie.....it is still showing in the tracking, even if it is not where it is supposed to be.
In this case, patience is a virtue.
Just keep tracking it and if it does disappear off the face of the earth then you start to worry.
