I would prefer the subject had a dedicated sub-forum.
It would show anyone who comes to the forum where to go straight away, 'cos it would be suitably titled. There would be enough interest (and possibly posts) to warrant it, and it could be a case of out of sight-out of mind for those who just aren't that into it.

To The Moderators,
Please encourage Ebay to reintroduce negative feedback for buyers.
The problem is that sanctions are not being imposed against serial non payers.
Why do we have to protect these people?
If negative feedback were introduced again the only people to receive it would be those who deserve it.
Then we would not need to waste our time and money.
To those "regular" posters who are sick of saying the same thing all the time it is not compulsory to answer every thread.
It is not compulsory to answer and if you have nothing new to say then say nothing.
Many sellers are frustrated , losing money, wasting time and want Ebay to reinstate a completely workable system.
Sellers donot want to leave negative feedback but they are being forced to consider it to stop the antics of a ridiculous number of people. My latest non payer now has 23 negative positives in a few months and if it was icorporated as negatives his percentage would be about 50% which is well below the average where sellers are removed from Ebay.
Why do we need to protect this sort of person ??????

That's why I think a dedicated sub-forum for the topic would be grand. To be pefectly honest, I think it would become quickly apparent that no one (for or against) has anything new to say. These threads always go the same way...
Why can't I leave a neg?
You can't, but I wish we could.
I so agree, this is a huge problem, bring back negs for buyers!!
And how would negs for buyers help in scenarios A, B or C?
Probably wouldn't, but it might help in scenarios X, Y and Z.
Well, then maybe negs isn't the answer but [variation of same idea] could be the way to go.
Lather, rinse and repeat ad infinitum.
Please don't misunderstand me, I understand the issue of non-paying buyers and its effect on sellers, and I understand (some of) the reasoning behind the desire to neg buyers, and I think there are some issues with the current system that could do with some fixing.... but I am also an active participant in forums of commerce sites where negs for buyers is (or was) possible - including one that assigned a non-personal automatic comment by the site software once a transaction was finalised without payment (similar to the visual marker of number of UPI strikes a buyer has received some have suggested), and I can tell you it makes no difference to the non-payer problem.

WRONG, retaliatory negatives given to buyers who neg a seller are not deserved, and this is one of the reasons negs-for-buyers was removed around 5 years ago.
and if you have nothing new to say then say nothing
this should also apply to the regular posters who have nothing new to say in support of negs for buyers.
I will admit that I have come around to the "catspjs" (and some other posters) position on this topic . . . . . namely . . . . . there should be some indication of non-payment on the feedback page, a bit like bid retractions.
I do not believe that this 'marker' on the feedback page of a buyer would provide any benefit to sellers, but it may make some non-payers sit up and take notice. Those non-payers that rack up plenty of false-negs from sellers just don't give a toss and will not care if the current policy of no negs-for-buyers was to change.

I reckon some sellers would like the extra strength KP24 shampoo for that.
