I have a car to sell and a Gumtree ad was done and dusted in ten minutes.
The same thing on Ebay has me tearing my hair out.
I have over 200 transactions at 100% but Ebay seems to hardly know me.
In addition the car ad template is moronic. What was wrong with the old one?
Scammers are all over, but for heavens sake keep Ebay usable.

Of course eBay don't know you
They don't know a single member who has ever used the site
And you only have TWO feedback as a seller, so the over 200 does not come into anything when buyers can only ever be given positives
As for the rest, you would need to ask eBay
And not have any kind of sense of security that there are not some of the biggest scammers to ever have internet on here
eBay is full of scammer buyers
Especially when inexperienced sellers like your self are selling something like a car
Have you fully completed sign up for and been verified for Managed Payments?
If not, you will not be able to sell anything

Ebay is very usable if you follow the requirements, I would hope with only 2 sales (not a couple of hundred), they do make it difficult for you to list a car, or any other items. Its the dodgy sellers who jump on with an expensive item.
Gumtree is an unregulated minefield, hence you could list in under 10 minutes. Most people I know avoid it for purchases,
