My experience with having my account suspended

I wanted to post to talk about my recent experience with having my A/C suspended to help anyone who is affected by this and is looking for help. It's a horrible feeling getting that email from eBay and the explantion given is not  adequate. In my case, there was some financial infor that came up in their report matching with another ID indicating that I may have opened a second A/C (which I didn't).  The first thing I did was try to call but couldnt find the ph# so I emailed customer support. I recommend that you phone, so you can ask them for more details and support yourself/case. Eventually I found the # I didn't bother with the code.  I  also called PayPal just to make sure that my A/C had not been comprimised.

I found CS to be helpful (thank goodness).  I submitted some ID via email and the next day they reinstated my a/c.  I also had to call another 1800 no. to get my selling limts reinstated, (the no will be an email they send).  Basically I stressed out for two days. I wont be doing that again. I'd done nothing wrong but not knowing what to do was scary.  eBay does seem like a scary monster at times. One minute your trackign along ok and next minute BAM your shut down.

It is scary because eBay can rain fire on you without you knowing. I have an older account and I when I was younger it was used in my parents home. My brother would of had his own account, and now 10 years later we both moved out and wonder if our accounts are linked because of living together. Furthermore, I used to live in a student studio apartment and we shared the whole interest for the whole building. Will my accounts be linked with those too?

I've seen stories of people's account being shut down because they shared a common IP at one point with another person who had their account limited/suspended. Now I must be a tight **bleep** and don't allow anyone to use my interest/eBay at home, nor do i even dare to log into eBay on anyones account.... just so I don't increase my chance of getting my account suspended because of somebody else.

i had my account suspended because they link my acount details with my partners account , the thing i swe live together in the same house and share the same address and phone number , they said she was using my account to sell , which she wasnt , it was the fact both account had similar details , what are 2 people to do when living in the same house who want separate accounts ???
