Whilst having several listings for items for sale, when checking via a seach, the items are listed as "Ended". It this because of the Western Australian/Eastern Australian time differance?? I believe that this confuses the potential Buyer when searching and penalises the Seller in achieving poor selling results. As upon conducting a search the Buyer is tricked into believing that the item has already sold and that the Auction has ended, unless they have the foresight to click onto the actual item to see the 'real' and actual end listing time? I am very interested to see if anyone at eBay have any anwers for this or has anyone in the eBay community, (particularly in Western Australia) experienced such losses and poor performance of sales results ? This never used to happen before when listing to sell !?!?!?

eBay Australia time is Australian Eastern Standard Time. Or summer time.
All listings use that time. I believe all listings show time to end, with what that time is AEST. Where were you searching? eBay or a search engine? A search engine could well throw up previous listings for a similar or same item.

Dear 'davewill1964' ~
Thank you for your prompt and kind response to my query. Yes, as you suggested, I was searching on eBay through the home page to check on the listings before the final hours of the endings of these listings. I can appreciate that the eBay time for sales ending is based is on Eastern Standard Time rather than Western Standard Time and given daylight saving the difference between the East and West of Australia is now 3 hours. However, it is frustrating, as when scrolling down items it appears with the words, "Listing Ended" when in fact the listing still has time to go here in the West and perhaps other states too. It is only when you click on the item to 'open' up the listing that one can see that it still has time to run prior to ending. I believe that this confuses potential Buyers as to thinking that the item auction has already concluded and likewise short-changes the Seller for any last minute bidding. I posted this observation to see if any other folk in the eBay Community may be experiencing this also. Thank you and I appreciate any feedback given this East/West issue.
Regards ~

I don't believe this is necessarily a time-zone issue, as it happens to quite a few members across the country ever since eBay made the time remaining in search results dynamic (i.e. a live countdown clock). I see it occasionally now, too (I'm in SA), but the time remaining on an auction is the same regardless of where a person is located, so I think it's more likely a site-wide glitch that (thus far) inexplicably occurs at random.
