Send them a new invoice manually.
Let them know that this usually updates the details on eBay and overrides the glitch.
If it doesn't work, the only other way is to send an invoice directly from PayPal, or have them pay by bank deposit I suppose.

If they have a PO Box some sellers have their ebay page set not to accepy PO Boxes -crazy as that is much safer. Anyway change to another address and that usually fixes the problem

It's a know glitch with mobile devices unless you actually don't send to their address ie overseas or PO Box. When I've contacted ebay about the problem they have recommended having the buyer log out of their account and then back in manually rather than from a link. Apparently the ebay app gets confused with the new 'global' selling and forgets which country the buyer is from.

Happened four times this week. Very random as the customers bought several items. They could pay for some but for others Ebay said that the item couldn't be sent to their address. Sending the invoice manually didn't help.
I've had to cancel some of the Ebay sales and then send a Paypal invoice. I'd rather it go through Ebay but customer service seems to have died this week and and I can't wait for days until they decide to deal with it.

You don't need to cancel the sale on eBay - just send the PP invoice then mark it as paid on eBay when payment is made.

Thanks for that. Ebay kept sending an notice to the buyer that they needed to pay...though I only have the buyer's word for that.

EBay do send payment reminders, but they stop when either the buyer pays or you manually mark the item as paid. Getting payment reminders is not going to affect the buyers account at all. It would only be if you opened an unpaid item dispute and closed it without payment that their account would be affected.
