So I presume everyone received the email re the new extra small satchels. Just wondering if anyone has been able to find the dimensions, as I've been totally unsuccessful.
I also asked at our local PO this morning and they know absolutely nothing about them and haven't even heard of them. TIA

I have just ordered 240 of these extra small satchels, it was free postage as I spent $60.

I just received this email from Aus Post for all users of MyPost Business...
New Extra Small padded mailer and 250g domestic parcel rate option
From 1 July 2025, we're introducing a new Extra Small option for Parcel Post and Express Post in retail and MyPost Business. For Australia Post packaging, a new Extra Small padded mailer will be available as part of our flat rate range, so you can send up to 5 kilograms within Australia. If you're using your own packaging, a new postage rate will be available for parcels 250 grams or less.

Oh...and of course the annual price increase...😖
The following price changes will apply:
These adjustments will help us manage rising processing and delivery costs while continuing to provide a sustainable delivery service. We're also investing in new facilities nationwide, increasing our parcel efficiency with automation, and creating market-leading digital experiences for parcel receivers.

I could be wrong, but I thought parcel price increases usually happened later in the year. (October or November?)
I do know that all letters are increasing in cost in June. So they're double dipping this time.

$9.70 for 250g isn't much of an offer 😢

Still better than $11.15.
The AP mailers don't seem to be available as yet.

How comes that everyone is saying to ignore the 250gm because it can hold 5kg please?

Probably because they are for items up to 5kg and some stock has a misprint of 250g, as others have already stated

Yes, despite what ebay says, I'd be reluctant to take the risk. AP is usually (well, always) pretty strict.
