New lesson for the sellers on local pickup items

I feel I should share my experience from ebay as a casual seller face a trouble with a buyer.

Recently, I post my many items on ebay. Most of them are local pickup only. I have a few case to solve every week, some buyers bid my items even know it is local pickup or didn't read before bidding and finally it need to go for cancel order but It is not this case.

I contact buyer and left  mobile number for pickup address. She contact and promise to come but never come and ddin't leave any message on my account or even text me.  Due to she used private number contact me. It means she doesn't want me to know her number. I  left messages on ebay twice, she didn't reply, so I brought her to unpaid case. After unpaid case open, She message me she was busy and unable to pickup want me to post item for her and willing to pay postage and she paid item via paypal for item on local pickup ( Cash on pickup only).  Because of paying via paypal, unpaid case was closed automatically and she didn't get stike!!!I

It is not fair. I have to refund her anyway, Payment is not include postage cost, if she force me to do.  I had to contact ebay and show them I had refund her and need FVF back.  That is what I can do and ebay suggest me to report buyer. What will affect her?  She has almost 400 positive feedback. Don't you think she doesn't know about reputation on ebay?  She message me later, want to repurchase and want to pay postage.  I already do full refund cannot do anything only relist my item. She said sorry and make excuses that she was very busy even weekend. Why don't she left message?   It made me so angry. Unacceptable behavior. 

Do you have any suggestion to deal with the buyer like this? I am so worry to deal with. If I still want to sell her. I would face another problem. Such product is not as described or damaged etc.  I do not use cancel order very often anymore. If I found buyer like her and do not respond my request cancel order. I would be in trap.

Add buyer to your blocked list and they won't bother you again.

As son as they ask for postage send them an invoice with a very high, fully tracked courier service delivery added then they either have to pay that or come and pick up with the cash, if they do that then you reinvoice again with the delivery cost removed.

It is too late. After she paid via paypal, I didn't know what to do. I had strong feeling she would make me more headache. I just want to end up and relist my item asap. So I called ebay and got suggestion to refund her and called again to get FVF back.  Her strike was release after she paid via paypal. I discovered that day she contacted me after uppaid case open. She had purchase other sellers with the same items. I feel that She kicked me out, made me a trouble and loss opportunity to sell last weekend. I believe she just want to release her strike and bought from others. Anyway buyer always win. I really want to give negative feedback for her. Can I?

I believe most sellers are more happy to cancel transaction if buyers change their mind and tell them nicely.  My case it look like she reserve the item until get better deal with others.

A seller can only leave positive feedback for a buyer.
If you leave feedback with a negative comment that is against eBay policy. If the buyer complains to eBay about it they will remove the comment and just leave the positive feedback. Also you will be slapped with a policy violation. So my advice would be don't do this.
