If, like me, you sell variation based items you'll be very happy to see the new Ebay inventory reports. The new format now provides full detail on variants.
With the old system I really struggled to get meaningful data out of the reports. This was partially because my API software for some reason only sync'd variant item code and did not push the base item code into Ebay. The old Ebay reports only included the base item code, which means all my reports had no item code, making analysis difficult.
Seems sad to get so excited about a new report, but this really is a game changer for me, allowing me to proper demand planning and analysis of inventory, pricing and so on.
