New seller and getting too many unpaid items

Hi, I am a new seller and I am getting many buyers that doesnt pay their items, I looked most of their accounts and they also do the same to others and still can keep on buying things. I think it is unfair for sellers, as they still can continue buying stuffs without paying them. In my case, I had open cases for them and had been closed the way they are. Did block all of them so they cant buy from me anymore, but is there other way of reporting them at least so they can not buy anymore? I dont know if we can actually do that.

Giving non payer strikes is the way too go and also put in place the blocks to stop buyers with strikes from buying from you.

To put these blocks in place hover your mouse over account in your my eBay page and from the drop down click on Site Preferences then go down the list till you see Buyer requirements and to the right of that click on show then click on edit. From there you can put in place the blocks you want, to stop those you want to block from purchasing from you.

If you've seen negative comments in buyers' feedback it's only because sellers violate a policy to do so.

Sellers should be able to leave negative feedback, being charged an insertion fee and then not being paid for an item is a negative experience is it not???

That option was removed a few years ago due to some sellers leaving undeserved retalitory feedback. Ifyou want to be able to do it there are a few auction sites where it can be done.

Gobigone, If you go through the process of initiating an unpaid item dispute which you can commense 4 days after purchase. If no response from buyer you can close the dispute 4 days later. You get your fees back and the buyer gets a strike as suggested by the other posters on your thread. The best thing to do now is put those blocks in place so perpetual non payers can't bid on your items.

Hi Colleen, After closing the dispute you got a fee back, not fees. Insertion fees still apply.

Of course ebay do not refund any listing fees, those are paid regardless of the item selling or not. You are paying insertion fees for the item to be displayed on their web site not for selling anything. If you pay for an advertisement in a newspaper you don't get your money back if it doesn't sell or a prospective buyer never pays.
