Hello - wondering if anyone out there has come across this. I have had a buyer contact me claiming they did not receive their item (no surprises there!) However, after reviewing the feedback they leave for other sellers they have either left negative feedback because an individual did not refund their money for their "missing parcel" or left positive stating what a great seller they were because they refunded their money for an item they never received. In the past 3 months they have posted this same feedback TWENTY FIVE times! So in other words about 50% of their parcels go "missing" I have reported her to ebay and no surprises nothing has been done but this person is a thief.....is there any way to actually report to ebay without having to deal with someone reading a rule book in the Phillipines?? I have tried Australia Post - sent me to the police.....police sent me to ebay.....clearly theft is something no-one cares about??

I know you can't name the buyer outright but can you give us a hint so we can block them? sorry for your hassles. I know of someone else who had that issue, they actually resold the product!

this issue was discussed awhile back, i think you can report it to the online fraud squad. surprised the police did not point you in that direction. try ringimg crime stoppers they should be able to help or just google it.

When I spoke to the police they stated that it was ebays problem which is actually rubbish. if someone steals from a store it is not the store owners place to enforce the law so i am very perplexed how they think it is ebays place to do the same. I did mention calling the online fraud squad - the police said I could "try" - which i will. I have actually notified some other buyers who she has purchased from in the hope that they will also report this individual also.

Ebay are useless. The police don't have time to deal with it
I'd take it to the media -- to current affairs
They love stories like this and it's a great way for the culprit to be outed under the guise of 'investigation'
The media will provide the culprit opportunity to put their side. In the process they and their ebay ID will be broadcast nation wide
Your hands will be sparkly clean
and it will put the wind up other low life scum who're doing or thinking of playing the same thieving game
Go on. Ring the media. The fact you have facts, figures, dates, receipts and others to back you is all in your favour

Bottom line is that you either post with sufficient tracking to satisfy Paypal or you refund, ebay cannot police this and unless you have fully tracked proof of delivery to their address there is nothing the police can do either. If they are silly enough to try and say that fully tracked parcels have not been received and enough sellers can band together then it is possible to get them stopped. Some of you will remember a certain seller who ended up frantically trying to return goods and make payments after she was reported to the police and had a web page dedicated to her misdeeds.
