No Relisting for free button

Does any one else not get the relist for free button? Ebay customer service told me it was only for new sellers, but I seem to be the only one maybe.

I am not a new seller and I still have the box to tick for free reslists. When I lost said box a few months back, I contacted customer service (by email) and got told that if I had sold more than 100 items, that could be the reason (I had). They also suggested clearing out the browser cache and restart the browser. I did that and voila! The box returned.

Lol, no, you're  not the only one.  I have a Store and I don't have it.  Hubby's ID - nonstore has it and he is an older member ??

There's also another thread running on the same subject, so if you look at it you may get some more ideas.  I'm going to try CS, so it will be interesting to hear what their response is to me, trouble is, if you speak to 3 people there, you'll likely get 3 different answers !

I'm not a new seller & don't have store but i still have it.

Have read some trying desperately to find it & got the giggles cos it reminds me of some old dirty joke about men & women.Anyhoo,on my account after i click continue, then list your item, the auto relist box was pre-ticked.I don't personally like it,as if it doesn't sell i don't want the stench of failure on me & I'd prefer to donate & get rid of it.

After the last 2 sets of listings with me unchecking the auto relist,it now has to be ticked if i want that option but it is still there.

I had a previous post on this where I could not get the free relisting

Ebay told me it was because my wife has a store and our ids are linked (news to us!)

And no they can't unlink them because (a) we have the same postage address (well, duh!)  and (b) we have the same ISP address

Didn't know how to get around that, so gave up.

Aah, that would be similar to our situation, so might explain it. But, it would be better & make more sense to have the Auto re-list in the store. Wonder can they give us a choice between the two ?

That sounds weird because I'm sure that some store sellers on here that also have non store ID's have said they have the auto relist.

Maybe accounts at the same addess that have the same IP address are automatically linked, to counteract shill bidding (as one reason). I'm just guessing though.

I don't have free auto relists on any store or non store IDs that are visible to me.
