Hello to you expert ebayers! Just after some advice.. I am new to ebay and it has been a slow start so far.. I have sold some products, however have not received feedback from the buyers.. I am expecting the feedback, to help me boost my rating, however I am confused when people do not leave feedback how can my rating change! I sent a personal message to one buyer to follow up his order and see if he was satisfied with the product ( hint hint please leave feedback ) and still no reply.
Do you have buyers who do not leave feedback? If so do you follow it up?
Thanks in advance!

I looked at one of your auctions and it was detailed without over load and looked clean and neat.
As someone else has suggested perhaps buy a few cheap items to get a few more numbers.
A lot of the HK sellers send a email around the time the item should be delivered thanking the customer for their purchase and hope they are happy with the transaction and to contact them if there are any problems, it tends to remind people to leave FB without asking

Are you by any chance leaving feedback first? You are more likely to get feedback if you wait, buyers who think their feedback actually has any use will often leave it in the expectation of getting some back.
I also don't like leaving it first as your prompt payer can turn into the buyer from hell later and you can't take back that green dot!
I just have mine set to auto respond once feedback is received and other than that if it is getting near the 60 day limit I assume they would have been in touch if there was a problem so leave it before archiving the transaction.

Hi, your listings look great and so does the feedback that you have already. It will all happen, they are probably hurrying off to go fishing :-x
I dont ask for feedback, but I do put a note in the parcel re getting in touch if incorrect etc.
An example of an item I sold recently without feedback, is that I received a lovely handwritten letter from a buyer explaining her personal history with the book and how much pleasure she had in receiving it and reading.
She didn't leave feedback.
I post parcel, leave feedback, and then move on to the next.
Best of luck, it wont happen overnight, but it will happen.

Just a hint: discover Vista Print; They almost always have offers for cheap deals: I got 50 postcards for about $7. They have plenty of designs to choose from: mine is all swirly and girly and frivolous, but you can have any wording you want, on an appropriately nautical or serious background.
Think about your wording: hope it gets to them promptly, please let you know if there are any problems, whatever seems most relevant. I have my email address and my mobile no. on mine.
It's worth a bit of effort to get yourself remembered: repeat buyers are what you want.
I'm glad I did it: costs very little if you get a special and then they will send you more offers. Use the cheapest postage option, it gets to me in Adelaide quicker than they say it will.
If eBay stopped tomorrow, Vista Print would be very sad!
Good luck!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments! You guys ROCK! Handy hint about me leaving FB first... I rate them as soon as they have paid, to show them my appreciation. I wont be rushing to do that anymore... excellent tip!
Thank you for all who took the time to view my store and that positive feedback you have given me means the world to me!
