Hi,
Is Ebay not giving us 150 free listings (its been about a month, and usually we get one for halloween)
because we have been complaining and venting our frustration everywhere about ebay's new and
past regulations?

Ok to have items listed 3 times for free ETC ETC..but 150 free listings at least adds to the variety of item a seller would NOT NORMALLY LIST-eg that !!!!! thats been lying around !!!! might try ebay etc etc...also give the buyer different items to view insted of the same old same old listed 3 times --as a seller thats great i now have 3 goes at selling listings even if i list the 40 which i do in the start of the month anyway..i can only hope this is read and understood like many other ebay users--that the 150 free listings is BONUS AAAA for a seller and buyers each MONTH for more items and more variety--AND PLEASE PLEASE--Extend the 150 listing Time to 4 days --How good would it be for sellers and Buyers --You have 150 free listings CUP DAY CELEBRATION W/E--list your items for 4 days etc etc
posting this as a sellers that really does USE EBAY ALOT--and tries to do it properly OK and Thanks for oppertunity to comment

I will not debate politics with you, as I can see we would disagree. I will say though as a seller "if supply is more than demand then the sellers are going to suffer" therefore the economy suffers. It all comes down to numbers always, the bigger the numbers are the bigger the profit usually is, same with taxes.
I haven't consider Australia being the lucky country for a while now. I have been to America and lived their for a few months, I have friends who live and work there too for years. I also have my oldest niece living in the UK and other friends, my niece moved there about 6 months ago, and after my own personnal experiences and talking to them I consider us the rip off country!!! And I have purchased items from the UK and even America that in the end were cheaper than any other Aussie seller and that includes the postage cost as well!
Melbourne being the 4th most expensive city in the world to live in??? I think that alone says everything about Australia today! But that is just my opionion. When it comes to Australia at the moment I am one of those buyers leaving 3 stars for everything ha ha! Whatever happened to giving someone a fair go and more than half of our population is living in povety, too many aussie battlers!
(Comment as much as you but I won't be arguing with anyone can't be bothered!)

Not arguing with you as I agree with most of what you say. Maybe you are doing a spot of fishing, but please explain this bit. ( leaving 3 stars for everything Ha Ha ) Call me slow, but I just dont get it. Do sellers get 3 stars ( and a defect ) even when they do a really good job and if so why ????

Oh sorry yeah don't take that seriously I was only joking, I am more refering to Ebay not making themselves clear to buyers, especially people who are just starting to explore the wonderful world of buying online.
It is not uncommon for some buyers to read postage time as the amount of time it takes to get the item in their hands from when they paid for it. Instead of knowing straight up that postage time means from when they paid for it to when the seller posts it. So they tend to only mark 3 or 4 stars without realising the seller posted it within the right amount of time they said in their listing, therefore qualifying for a 5 star rating.
Also with communication some buyers like it and some don't, so if there is no communication between seller and buyer the buyer only thinks of the seller's feedback they leave (if they did after the buyer paid) and the update on posting, so they just mark 3 or 4 stars not realising that for a perfect 5 star rating the seller actually did qualify for under Ebay policies.
(This is was on another thread today I was reading: Some buyers are absolute grubs)

Thank you very much for the graph.
I also agree Australia is a dare country now compared with 30yrs ago, we are even being ripped off with internet fees.
But will keep on selling for awhile , happy selling everyone.
