No response from buyer

Hi, I'm just wondering if there's a timeframe for how long you should wait to hear from a buyer after they've won an auction? I sent the invoice straight after the auction ended because I had to deduct some money from their postage (for combined postage). I know it's only been 3 days but I thought they'd have made contact by now, even if it was to say they couldn't pay?

No response from buyer

I usually give buyers 5 days then send a message politely reminding them to make payment and that an unpaid case is automatically opened at 7 days.

If no response within 2 days, I open the case and close it as soon as I can.

Fees are returned, buyer gets a strike and I can relist.

And I add them to my BBL.

The minimum time frame is 4 days. Ebay send a reminder after 2 days, I send one after 3 and then open the dispute at the end of day 4 if I have not heard from them. Some sellers gve longer but in my experience they either pay quickly, only pay after you open a dispute or in rare cases don't pay at all so I see no point in waiting any longer unless a buyer gets in touch before buying to ask for longer.
