Re: Non paying bids then eBay charges you for not paying their account

eBay have just refunded the 16 dollars a win for the little guy
As for the experts the claim for the non paying bidder was before the invoice so no I haven't missed the point

Does ebay even know the transaction was not finalised?

Did you open a non paying bidder dispute then close it and issue the buyer with a strike?   You would have received your FVFs back too.

But have you closed the cases after 4 days so the buyers get strikes?   Ebay does not do it for you so how can you say  they don't care?

Yes closed all cases after 4days I have been charged late payments on sales that haven't gone through and trying to explain to eBay has been a total waste of my time they suspend my account after 10 years and do very little to the non payers

You still need to pay the fees when they are due and then if you receive a refund for FVFs you don't get them back immediately sometimes it takes until your next billing cycle to receive them back so you always need to have money to pay the fees.

If eBay knows that you haven't sold anything there should not be any fees don't you get it

But if your billing due date is in the middle of these non payment cases that is still a sale in ebays books, but once you open and close a case then you receive your fees back so if this isn't the issue then yes you have something to complain about.

Re: Non paying bids then eBay charges you for not paying their account

The selling fees are charged to your account at the time of the sale. If later down the track the buyer doesn't pay and you open and close an Unpaid Item Dispute you will later get credited the amount of the final value fees.

However, if your mothly invoice is due before the credit comes through you stil have to pay the invoice.. the credit will come later.

Do you open an Unpaid item dispute 4 days after the sale date if the buyer hasn't paid by then, then close it 4 days after the first 4 days (if the buyer still hasn't paid?)?
