Non paying buyers

It is frustrating to say the least! I have eight non paying buyers over my three ID's over the last two months. They bid, make an offer and then keep quiet. All one can do is file a non paying bidder claim, wait for five days and close the case and they get a strike. Such a waste of tme and listings as well.

One potential buyer wrote :

"I am still stuck in quarantine and will not be able to receive the item because I don't know where i am and they wont tell me"

In which country is she? that they won't tell her her location????

Another one said that she "nodded off" and didn't realise that she had bid on the item!

guess there are so many tme wasters on ebay now. nothing better to do but spoil others chance of buying and wasting the sellers time as well.

Non paying buyers

One easy solution.

Most of your sold items appear to only get one bid.

Just list them as BIN and select IPR.

That eliminates non payers 100% and you get each listing for 30 days rather than max 10 days.

Many sellers have also found sales to increase as many buyers don't want to wait until an auction finishes before it's posted.

Non paying buyers

I know how you feel, I have had 16 non payers over the last 2 months across my accounts.

If they don't intend to pay, why bid. Very frustrating. It just makes a mess of my bookwork and wastes my time.
