I've had heaps of problems with buyers not paying. I've really had enough because they don't even have the common courtesy to let me know they've changed their mind. Some of them even bid on multiple items and still don't pay. There are other bidders that would have paid and it just wastes my time because then I can't try to sell it again until the unpaid item case is closed. It costs me money to list the item so it's really frustrating. Does anyone have any tips? I don't feel like I should have to put 'serious bidders only' in my listings as I think that goes without saying...

Couldn't you just post everything in one post?
Rather than many consecutive ones. As you're not quoting the post you're replying to they don't make any more sense separately.

oh rumble whats your name again idc, if i was block from here like you say because you can only post ten post and i reached that limit or because my FB is under ten on this selling account.
why was it the same way for two days and why did customer service make me send a specific email to a specific email address asking me to request permission to the forum??
Your best bet pepper if you have any conserns ask customer service they can give you the correct asnwer on serious matters.
not forum junkies.
i just tried to help...
but common sense....just ain't that common any more
Firstly the name is rumple...
Secondly I did NOT say you were blocked from posting...I told you that you were not able to post anymore that day because there was a 10 post limit for members with less than 10 feedback.
Thirdly...I have absolutely no idea why you couldn't post for two days...why would I.
Perhaps take your own advice and contact ebay and ask them as you appear to think no one on these forums knows what they are talking about.
btw...I have blocked you from sending me messages off the forums.

you cannot block "new" ebayers and blocking low FB is exactly the same thing. Think about what you just said seriously "New people have no FB or "Low" FB hmm
You can block buyers with low feedback but that doesn't mean they're new.. It means the ID is new, but who knows how many they have had..
Some people will start new ID's just to get around the bidder blocks and make malicious bids just to disrupt the auction..
Yes new people have low or no feedback, but so do those who have been on eBay for 5+ years who just make a new account to get around the bidder blocks

One has private feedback (against eBay’s advised show feedback to build trust section)
Only buyers are allowed to have private feedback, mainly because some buyers don't want others to look through their purchases..
Buyers can only have positive feedback

As I said you can only block low FB buyers IF THEY ARE NOT PHONE VERIFIED. The moment they have their phone number verified, they cannot be blocked.

not quiet use up for 24hours, how ever i did re-read the policies again and it interesting what you find if you actually read them.
😉 i could not help myself i had to come back and re confirm.
That people can see in the polices WHAT I AM SAYING FOR THEMSELF, you are allowed to charge what you see fit for postage and handling... Now if your a dodgy business person then yes you may try charge reduculous prices for postage and HANDLING. How ever i may charge people what i see fit(reasonable) for my handling.....
Ah read for yourself Smile
Common Sense.....Just Aint that Common anymore.....
Search the Help pages (Does not search for items or products) tipsExcessive Postage and Handling Policy
Sellers may charge reasonable postage and handling fees to cover the costs for mailing, packaging, and handling the items they are selling. eBay will rely on member reports and other resources to determine whether or not a seller’s postage, handling, packaging, and/or insurance charges are excessive, inaccurate, misleading, unreasonable or unnecessary.
eBay may also place limits on the amount of postage and handling that can be charged for flate-rate domestic postage on certain categories of items. For more information about postage and handling charge limits, please see eBay’s FAQ page: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/postage-caps-faq.html
Sellers must charge only actual postage and actual packaging costs (or less) in order to be in compliance with this policy. Sellers must ensure that the details of their postage costs are accurately described in their listings and that their postage costs are not misleading in any way. Postage and handling fees must not be listed as a percentage of the final sale price. More details are set out below.
In addition to the final listing price, sellers are permitted to charge any of the following additional costs:
• Actual Postage cost: This must be limited to the actual cost (i.e. postage) for posting the item.
• Packaging cost: This must be limited to the actual cost of packaging materials used for the item, such as bubble wrap, tape, box and mailing label and must not be excessive or unnecessary.
• Handling cost: This must be limited to the reasonable costs for selecting and preparing the item for shipping and must not be excessive or unnecessary.
• Insurance: Sellers offering insurance must only charge the actual fee for insurance relating to the item (or less). No additional amount may be added, such as “self-insurance”. Sellers must only offer postal insurance provided by a licensed 3rd party insurance provider.
Note: Postage and Handling costs must not include storage costs, employee costs (except for the reasonable cost of selecting and preparing the item for shipping), business overhead expenses, or any other general business cost.
For cross border transactions, sellers may not collect tariffs and duties. However, buyers may be responsible for actual, applicable tariffs, and duties as required by respective country laws.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
Listing cancellation
Limits on account privileges
Account suspension
Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
Loss of PowerSeller status
