List an item as pick up only and a member buys it and then I notify buyer the pick up address.
Get the didn't know it was pickup only as they thought it was free postage so please cancel (do the cancel and PP
now keep 52 cents as a fee reversal.
Same item and buyer wants to know if I will post and I explain the whole procedure on I'll need to list it with
postage (member buys the item before I can revise it and I have to cancel again and cop another 52 cent fee).
So now the item has $1.04 in reversal fees because of buyers error but I paid (each cancellation was that the
buyer asked to cancel yet I cop a fee).
Now they'll just need their employees to buy stuff and then it cancelled them to get extra funds.

Best offer was accepted so that $199.99 had better be changed by eBay.
Maybe why he hasn't paid yet as it shows as $199.99 for him (I've messaged him to pay via the invoice as that
has the correct amount on it).
Interesting. Watchcount has it sold for $119.99
They usually show how much was accepted on 'best offer'

He's now paid and it's all set to go once I print the label.
Under my sold items it's now come up as $19.99 but when checking other items > sold items it's at $199.99
with the line through it.

Make sure Ebay only charged fees on the $19.99 price and not the $119.99

It's all gone through as $19.99 so all good.

It's a good thing that you can now use your own packaging as eBay have put thickness limits on the satchels
(8 cm for the 500 gram one and 10.5 cm for the 3 kg one).
I had it set as the 500 gr satchel but had to change to my own packaging because it's over 10 cm thick.
This is the first time I've seen a size limit in place for the satchels.
The satchels cut up and turned inside out make good wrapping though.

That is an AP thing. It's been in for a few months, but unless and until they actually change their policy, I can't see them being stupid enough to try to enforce it. Except, as here, through third parties.
It's interesting though. Some of my old listings still use 10 x 10 x 10cm from back in the days when I put dimensions in. I don't use calculated postage any more, so that is no longer an issue.
Flat price will still allow you to select eBay satchels, btw.

I had it set for the 500 gram satchel but they now have the 8 and 10.5 cm set as maximum dimensions so you
can't miss them and I'm not taking the risk that they wont enforce it as it's clearly written when you go to get the
label (using own packaging was $8.30 so less than a $1 more which is well worth the lesson learned and I can
take that into consideration in the future).

If you use a flat rate you don't need to add any dimensions. But you can still use eBay satchels - you simply specify them.
I have the postage displayed in seller hub, so when the postage goes up, I will use SH to bulk edit postage. I stopped using 'calculated' postage for eBay satchels when they managed to go 12 months without updating the price to reflect increased prices.
Once again, a lesson learnt. Never, never, never rely on eBay for anything that I can control myself.

I did use the flat rate and put the 500 gram satchel but when you go to print the label the dimensions are
highlighted in blue so that you can't miss them (that's why I didn't use the satchel as it states the length widith
and the 8 cm Maximum for thickness).
I've never used calculated postage for eBay satchels or for the B1,B2 or B4 boxes.

I dunno then.
If no dimensions are stated on the listing then eBay/AP have no idea what they are, and can't really place any blocks.
If it was me, I would use the label and if the LPO actually measured it (doubtful) and rejected it (even more doubtful) I would chuck it in the red box outside. I don't have any late postage defects, though, so I can handle one.
