O.k 10 seller feedback, but no d.s.r?

I've got 10 positive rating for selling, but detailed seller rating ain't showing still? I did a experiment and it seems people don't have to use the star system at all. So not all my buyers have being using the star system, I suppose. Does that give me defects if they don't even use the star system, ( hope I didn't give the one I exprimented on a defect.) maybe that's why I'm getting hardly anyone even looking at my things on sale. How do you get higher on he search results?

Buyers not using the stars won't give you defects.

You may have 10 buyers that have left feedback but not all leave DSR's and until you have 10 DSR's they won't show.

Further to what Kopes said, unless all those 10 feedback are from different buyers, they won't show yet, even if they did all leave stars. They have to be left by 10 separate buyers as multiple purchases only count as one.

That's very true Sheep, but once you have more than 10 buyers, if one buyer purchases 2 items at the same time he can leave you low DSRs on both or even defect you on both, like that evil mongrel did to me last week, and they most certainly do count separately. My defect count went from 1 to 3 in one fell swoop, and believe me, I was not impressed, particularly when I could prove to eBay that they were purely malicious, yet they couldn't give a toss and flatly refused to remove them. Ba$tards! ๐Ÿ˜ž

Yep similar deal here cq. A scammer we caught out left us 6 malicious negs. These all counted as 6 defects which they also have flatly refused to remove. Had it been the other way around and they were 6 pos then it would have counted as only a single pos. This was explained by the csr. It's really stacked against the seller.

and further more any other positives for purchases made at a later date within the same week will not be counted either.

It's just ridiculous, isn't it? They imply in the policies that a single buyer can only leave you one defect, but they mince their words because that buyer can leave multiples due to multiple transactions. To read over it, you would assume that they can only give you one. It's only the fine print that tells you it means one per transaction and each item bought is one transaction, even if all paid at the same time.

I don't think eBay will be happy until there are no sellers left at all. Then they can fluff all their buyers precious ego's and tell them how wonderful they are and what an amazing buying experience they will have now.

It's all about the buyers. Well, they can have their amazing buying experience when there are no sellers left! They will certainly be hassle free transactions and no chance of INAD and INR's!

Oddly enough, I'm very grateful to eBay in many respects, as the appallingly punitive tactics used against sellers has had me refusing to buy from eBay and going elsewhere - anywhere else at all - in disgust, and because of it, I'm saving more money than I ever thought possible.

I'm now doing the major proportion of my overseas purchases through AliExpress and by dealing directly with the wholesalers in most cases, the prices simply can't be beaten. For example, an item I wanted to buy was available from local sellers for between $44 and $86. I bought the very same item from the wholesaler on AliExpress for just $19 with free shipping via China Post..

Furthermore, because it's a popular item, I decided to buy 2 of them and sell the other one on eBay for the same price as the cheapest local seller, which ultimately means that not only do I get the item I wanted for nothing, I'll even make a small profit on the extra one.

The average delivery time for free shipping is around 2 weeks, or if I want it urgently, I can pay an extra $12 and have it in 3 days, and it's still $13 cheaper than the local seller and gets here a day or two sooner. So thank you for treating me like carp eBay, because I'd never have bothered looking elsewhere otherwise.

eBay does appear on those shows. Whether they are paid or unpaid advertisements, I don't know.
