OPENING A NEW EBAY STORE THROUGH A TRUST STRUCTURE

I am looking for direction in opening a new ebay store.  I am an existing eBay customer buyer/seller through a personal account in my own name and have taken the plunge to register a business through a family trust structure that I have.

Ideally I would like to maintain the existing personal account to separate personal purchase/sales and simply open a new account in trust name trading as XYZ Business for the sale of items.  If I do this is it possible to transfer the existing feedback and positive history or do I simply face the fact that I will need to start from stratch with the account and open a new paypal account etc.

If I have to open a new account - will I also struggle with the listing and turnover limits of a new account?

I have tried to phone the ebay customer support line and unfortunately the operator that I spoke to did not grasp the nature of the question.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - ideally if their is an eBay moderator who can provide some advice re the process.

Cheers

All new accounts need to start with 0 feedback even when you are already a well established member. There are listing restrictions. You'll need a new email address to add to your existing Paypal account.

You can attach a credit/debit card which should see you get 100 listings/$7,500 or refer to your existing seller account which will give 30 listings/$7,500. Otherwise you will need to build your sales and feedback up and request higher limits whenever possible.

Also you can change your registration from individual/personal  to business.

You can change your current id, to something, perhaps the name of your store?

and that way you will retain your feedback
