Outsourcing Listings to a third party, can it be done safely?

Hi All

First time poster and i thought ide ask my fellow Ebayers for some advise.

I ave little time to write lots of listings for both my ebay shop and my magento website and was considering getting a freelancer to write my listings for me for a number of products i want to order.

Have any of you done this before and if so, how did you do it safely without putting your shop at risk of being taken over?

I sell for others on commission but on the condition the item is with me so it can not be sold while I have it listed and I can also see the item to do an accurate description.

If the person doing the descriptions for you can not see what they are writing about that makes it very hard.

Your current listings look like stock photos and the description looks copied from a site of the same item so that would make it easier for another to listings if the item is new and unused.

As for another taking over your ebay store that is something you will have to monitor and have full trust in the person doing your work for you.
