4freshwatersystems, that doesn't sound good at all. All I can suggest is if the item doesn't get delivered to you in time, that you open an ebay claim.
I have not previously heard of PFL, or not that i recall anyway, but from what Dave says, it sounds as if you have been dealing with a Chinese company?
Look, I'd never say all Chinese sellers are bad, I have dealt with some excellent ones in the past, but on the whole, I think you're better off on ebay in future buying from an Australian based seller when you can.
