Hi guy.
As we are power seller, do we have monthly listing limitation?
We are informed that we cannot add listing anymore than the amount we have(25 listings).
Anyone know why? Is it related to the evaluation?

It could be due to a number of different factors - limitations are generally placed on new(er) sellers until they have a well-established, good track record, and sometimes if they are selling a higher-end brand name product where a lot of fakes are around.
Your can view your listing limits in eBay, and there is a link to request higher selling limits there, but if the limits are due to feedback then it's probably unlikely they will be raised until the ratings improve.

I am surprised yr allowed to make any listings using the brand name UGG and stating quite clearly that they are NOT UGG brand, just aussie sheepskin books.
maybe your limitations are in place because UGG usa has requested more information?? who knows, maybe eBay can clarify this for you.

Yep, it'll be the "misuse" of the Brand Name

Ugg is not a registered / protected trademark in Australia (I looked it up before answering ๐ ).

Assuming they're active participants, I wonder why the listings are active then, and have been selling for over a year? The continual policy violations alone would have seen that account a little more than restricted, surely?

Coops you can use the name Ugg boots in Australia it's classed as a generic name, but outside of Australia Deckers own the name. Deckers lost the trademark fight here as it was like saying Ford owned the trademark car. As there had been various companies using the name ugg boots to describe the shoes right back to the 1920s.
Yeah, I know the full story. But this is eBay, not the real world.
Listing "brand names" are what gets you restricted. Try listing more than 10 LV items and see how far you get. I'd say that UGG is on the special list that flags you for attention
Even though in AU it's just a generic term, eBay is a worldwide marketplace. Yeah, I also note that the OP is only selling to AU... but that doesn't mean eBay T&S won't stick their noses in.
Easy for the OP to test... just list something (anything) in a different category. That way they'll know if it's a site-wide restriction, or only relates to the Uggs, etc.
