POWER SELLER LISTING

Hi guy.

As we are power seller, do we have monthly listing limitation?

We are informed that we cannot add listing anymore than the amount we have(25 listings).

Anyone know why? Is it related to the evaluation?

Re: POWER SELLER LISTING

GRR - I hate that quoting thing... try again (plus a minor edit)...

Yeah, I know the full story. But this is eBay, not the real world.

Listing of "brand names" is often what gets you restricted. Try listing more than 10 LV items and see how far you get. I'd say that UGG is on the special list that flags you for attention

Even though in AU it's just a generic term, eBay is a worldwide marketplace. Yeah, I also note that the OP is only selling to AU... but that doesn't mean eBay T&S won't stick their noses in.

Easy for the OP to test... just list something (anything) in a different category. That way they'll know if it's a site-wide restriction, or only relates to the Uggs, etc.

Re: POWER SELLER LISTING

When you do the quote thing, coops, make sure you start typing AFTER the end quote [/quote]. That way you don't type inside the quote. ๐Ÿ˜‰

No, it's not (EVER) that. What happens is that sometimes the text ends up on the same line as the opening {quote} or closing {/quote} tags.

Here it must be exactly like this structure, otherwise it creates a mess:

{quote mid="604957854"}

quoted text on a separate line

{/quote}

On another forum that I commonly use it's quite different - you need to make it like this, or it stuffs up:

{quote mid="604957854"}quoted text on a SAME line{/quote}

I just hit the quotation icon, then scroll down to the bottom, click after the end quote and type. Haven't stuffed one up yet.

Yes, but sometimes I only want to quote only part of a long post/multiple quote post and then it can get messed up ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: POWER SELLER LISTING

YES - it happens when you EDIT a quote, to only mention a part of it.

It is NOT caused by typing the reply inside the quote tags, but happens if you accidentally don't put BOTH quote tags on a separate line to your text.

And it doesn't always show up when you preview. On these forums, the Preview often shows you something completely different to what actually happens. The programming is really sloppy.
