How is the best way to get it out to sellers to put the leg length in the item. I now tend to not even attempt to contact the seller if they dont have the measurement details in the description. Any thoughts? I would probably buy pants if they had the details. So many times I've had to ask the person. Can ebay put a notification up for sellers to consider this or put leg length and waist options as a minimum in details when people are entering up a new sell for pants??

It drives me bonkers too. Also the length of the riser is important to judge if they are hipsters or not. If the seller cannot be bothered I can't be bothered emailing and waiting for a response.

Sellers need to have waist measurement, hip measurement, inside leg, length and front riser in their listings. Very important IMO

I never buy pants, trousers or jeans on ebay, I'm 6foot 1inches tall, so need longer length clothes anyway.. ๐

As a seller I give both inside and outside leg length.
As a buyer I hit the back button if all the measurements I need are not there, plenty of other sellers who take the time to list properly. IMO if they can't be bothered to put a bit of effort into the listing they are unlikely to give good after sale service either!
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

Couldn't agree more with all the comments so far
Tall here too and tall other person for whom I buy even more than for myself
The thing that grinds my gears having seen so much of it, is when you know the seller is too damned lazy to get the tape measure ..
.. so in effort to disguise their laziness and lack of measurements
.. they've described the item to you
.. as in 'ruffles down the side with a stripe and pretty buttons, a zip and false pockets '
I talk to the screen, saying, ' I can see all that, dingaling. I'm looking at your darn photo '
If I'm really interested - and I have to be these days - I'll do a deep sigh and 'Ask Seller A Question'
But our lazy seller doesn't want to drag the item out and run a tape over it. So they don't answer until maybe four hours before auction end. Because they don't have one bid and it's looking to them as if it's not going to get those 35 bids they'd envisaged so they can pay last week's rent
Quite often I don't see their reply until a day or more after auction end
Then you see the same item relisted and they still haven't included the measurements

As a Seller who always puts Measurements in a listing I still get emails from Buyers asking for them!! These ones don't get further than the picture.
Then there are the ones who do read the Measurements and want me to measure everything again as it seems too big for a Size 18!
I don't really mind the latter ones- but it does send me diving for the Tape Measure in case it is wrong!! LOL

Agree with that one pancaket52 ! I try to put as much as I can in the listing and it should be sufficient for those that know the brand, but still get questions - "there's always one"!!!
