Payments from eBay problems

I sold three items.  eBay deposited money in my account which is, minus their fees, but includes the cost of the three postage labels.

The following day, they deduct the cost of the labels from my account.

I  wish they would just take ALL costs before forwarding the money to me.

Do any of you seasoned sellers know of any solution to this problem?

The money was sent to my account as soon as I posted the items.  I was wondering if I opted to be paid weekly and not so quickly it would be any solution, or would further sales still end up in the same mess?

What are you on about? I don't pay over the counter to post parcels, that is my whole point that I don't want to do that, you are the one who suggested that, not me.

3 items.

Not sure what the problem is here - handing 3 items over the counter - paying - getting tracking - each listed on the receipt with a postcode - destination.

A trip to the post office anyway - by anyone - if you trust someone enough to do the posting - get a card especially to use for this purpose.

Too many - far too many problems with eBay postage - just look at all those now having to pay since last October - because Ebay makes mistakes.

And with 10 items listed I wouldn't be too worried about trips to the PO.

I have no idea why you think that I was posting from your account.... but as you can clearly see for yourself in the attached screenshot, it was actually your account which mentioned paying over the counter. That's not something I do, and I would certainly never advise anyone else to do it, either.

If you bother to investigate the solutions you've been given, you will see they provide exactly what you're asking for...

With a MyPost Business account, you create a postage label the same as you would on eBay. You pay for it, print it and stick it on the parcel - the same as you would with an eBay label. Then you drop the parcels at the PO - or even in a red AP box if you like... so that's not an issue for you.

It makes absolutely no difference if you input the parcel size and weight into your listing or into the AP website or app... you're still liable for any miscalculations just the same either way - so that's not an issue for you.

There is no minimum sending amount, and no requirement to enter into a contract with AP - so that's not an issue for you.

If you're worried about keystroke errors when uploading tracking, you can integrate with eBay and the tracking is uploaded immediately upon payment - so that's not an issue for you.

It's totally free to set up and uses the same login details as your MyPost account. To be honest, I really don't understand your reluctance to even consider the pertinent advice you have already received.

Sounds like you have your payouts set at daily? If you change it to weekly then most of your postage costs will have been deducted.

I get your annoyance - eBay can take your money instantly when it wants, no reason why they can't do it with the shipping costs.
