I am going to list a few things on my other id which I haven't used for around 5-6 months. As I use the same paypal account for both id's I am wanting to know if paypal will hold ALL funds in my account for 21 days or only the funds which go in from my second id?
Thank you

Only those from the new account will be subject to the hold. If you have a good history with your existing ID both on eBay and Paypal, it is worth an email to Paypal (after you start selling on the new ID), pointing out your track record and asking them to exempt you from the hold. It worked for me.

We opened a new selling account some time back and already had two other long-term accounts in good standing using the very same paypal accounts for payment.
They still placed the hold on the new account. We called them about it and they would not lift the hold.
So we raised a formal complaint with the FOS(Financial Ombudsman Service).
Within 48-hours all our funds were released and they have never held anything of ours since.

I would contact the Ombudsman if I need to, but was just wanting to know if they would only hold the payments from the new account and any payments from this long term id would still be accessable immediately.

NOW WAT what? The hold was lifted on my new account within 3 days, and it wasn't much different for a lot of other people here, so I'm not exactly sure why you dragged up an old thread to have a rant about something that has a solution.
